Yes, we do remove trees, but we suggest and explain the alternatives that pruning the tree can give. See Pruning on the Services page, also Internal Supports.
Many good trees are removed without good reason. Of course there are situations that call for tree removal. The threat of a decaying or hazardous tree needs to be removed. Landscaping and construction projects may require tree removal. Trees in poor health can be replaced, even phased out by pruning it back as a new tree develops and takes up the space.
For removal we generally climb trees using some pretty fancy gear lowering limbs as needed. Tight spaces merely make the job more interesting and difficult, and if it will help, we hire a crane.
Root pruning and root barriers keep them from damaging hardscapes such as foundations and driveways.
